Basic Needs international training programme (ITP) conducts training of trainees (TOT) programmes on development oriented psychosocial care and this is the place for passed-out trainees to discuss their problems and interest with resource persons, programme organisers and coordinators and share their experiences with each other.

BasicNeeds ITP conducted the first Training of Trainers (TOT) programme in Sri Lanka during 2nd – 12th February 2006. There were 25 Participants from India, Indonesia, Thailand, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. This programme is especially designed for the community development workers to improve their knowledge, skills and attitudes in order to provide development oriented psychosocial care for Asian tsunami affected communities.
